Lake Constance gardens present green story(s)
The gardens and parks around the international Lake Constance region are real places of longing for many lovers of the region. Sometimes the green oases are hidden behind fences or walls, other times they are open gardens that merge with the surrounding lake landscape and allow the gaze to wander far beyond their borders. For 10 years, the international ‘Lake Constance Gardens’ network has been showcasing the region's garden treasures and inviting visitors to explore over 45 parks and gardens in four countries. Visitors become time travellers: From the Stone Age and the Middle Ages to the 19th century and the present day, they move from era to era and experience horticultural history at first hand.
