Deutsche Bodensee Tourismus GmbH (DBT) is the destination marketing organisation (DMO) for the northern Lake Constance region, based in Friedrichshafen

The area of responsibility comprises 39 towns and municipalities with more than five million overnight stays and a multiple of day visitors in the four-country region of Lake Constance. In addition to the classic tasks of a DMO, the DBT is responsible for the umbrella brand ECHT BODENSEE and, as a contact for tourist information centres and service providers, is responsible for tourism quality assurance & development in the region. Sustainability (ECHT nachhaltig network) and the ECHT BODENSEE CARD (EBC) are further important focal points. The EBC gives overnight guests in the participating municipalities free use of bus & train services in the network area and other tourist benefits.
